Glenn's Better Late than Never Personal Calendar Signing @ Newport Hooters

Sometimes life throws you a little bone. My bud Glenn missed out on the local Hooters Calendar signings when they came out. Or course I did not, see here. Anyway it so happened that the reigning Ms. Hooters International and 2014 calendar cover girl, the lovely Marissa Raisor twitter was our waitress. Speaking of the calendars I had my June calendar coupon  with me allowing me to take off 20% off any merchandise purchase with a drink order. (Dine in Only). Glenn bought a calendar and I purchase a Marissa shot glass.
She is a sweetheart to be sure. She told us she had just returned from trip to Thailand. The just opened a new Hooters there. She also told she won a $100 bet when she threw out a first pitch at a Reds game last season. The bet was she couldn't do on the fly. Anyway it was a very enjoyable lunch and a fine June afternoon.

Better Late than Never! Super Heroes @ Newport Hooters for Happy Hour

Sorry! I'm a week late with this post! As my time at CBT dwindles, my buds and I took advantage of another Reds game at the CBTS pavilion. A beautiful day, wonderful food and company. Unfortunately our Redlegs succumbed to the San Francisco Giants 6 to 1. So far it's been a rough year for the Reds. Hopefully they can turn their fortunes around soon.  So Jeff and I  drowned our sorrows at Hooters for some Happy Hour Super Hero Cheer.

A little late with this post, but a few folks got some seriously bad news yesterday at CBT. We were informed we were going to be outsourced come August 1st. I've been at CBT nearly 18 years. This wasn't a total shock. It's been rumoured for years. Anyway a good way to take that news off our minds was lunch at Hooters.

A few of us needed to get some items at Microcenter up in Sharonville. A very good excuse to take in lunch at Springdale Hooters. I had a healthy Cobb Salad. Always a great choice. Glen had some world famous wings and Ray another salad. Dos Equis was the beer of choice.

 We didn't know at the time. Our pal Willie realized once we got to our favorite Hooter's in Newport that it was his 35th work anniversary at CBT. We just went over there to use our various coupons. Jeffy, Willie and myself got some wings. Glenn got some shimp. I actually took home an order for tonight's dinner Yummy!

Post Back Surgery and Florence Hooter's almost 10th Anniversary

Black Friday featured an historic photo

Our Boy Glenn has made a miraculous recover in two weeks time! The modern medical science  never ceases to amaze me! Glenn was able to join Jeff and I for lunch the day before Florence Hooters 10th Anniversary! Our Girl Meaghan took care of us with prompt courteous service, as does all of the fine ladies at Hooters. I haven't had wings in awhile so I had 10 scrumptious wings with some fries. Jeff had some  wings amd fries and Glenn chose a delicious burger and ad a carry at order for the Mrs. Kirby. Our thirst was quenched with some fine Sam Adams Cold Snap Seasonal. Always a good choice. A shout out to Shay for rounding out the photo above. This is the first time in "What's for Lunch?" blog history that a photo featured Glen, Jeff and myself in the same picture!

     My man Glenn is going under the knife tomorrow. Herniated Disc. No fun with that. What is fun ias yet another lunch at favorite Hooters on the Mighty Ohio. Get well soon Glenn. We need you back for Opening Day!
